Returns and Refunds Policy
At Hifas da Terra S.L., a company committed to excellence in the cultivation and marketing of mushrooms and mushroom-derived products for health and well-being, we understand the importance of building a relationship of trust and transparency with our customers.
For this reason, we have developed this Returns and Refunds Policy to clearly and rigorously define the procedures applicable to returns of products purchased via our website (www.youroptimum.com), in full compliance with applicable national and European regulations.
Our policy respects the rights of the customer, defined as any natural or legal person who, as a final consumer, purchases products marketed by Hifas da Terra S.L. to meet their personal needs. Customers are entitled to return products under the conditions described below, provided they meet the requirments of both applicable consumer protection legislation in the customer's country of residence and European and international regulations in this area.

1. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with applicable consumer rights legislation in the customer's country of residence, as well as with European and international regulations on e-commerce and consumer protection (including Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament), customers are entitled to withdraw from their online purchase contract within thirty (30) calendar days from receipt of the purchased product(s), without the need to provide any reason.
For purchases of Packs via the Hifas da Terra S.L. website, the return period is extended to sixty (60) calendar days from receipt of the products included in the Pack.
To exercise this right, the customer must provide an unequivocal written statement of their decision to withdraw from the contract. This may be submitted either by email to atencion@youroptimum.com or by post to our registered office at Portamuiño, 7, 36154, Pontevedra, Spain. We recommend that customers retain proof of submission of this notification for legal certainty.
2. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with applicable legislation, the right of withdrawal does not apply to certain products, including:
- Good that may deteriorate or expire rapidly
- Sealed products that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons, where the seal has been broken after delivery.
As Hifas da Terra S.L. products include food supplements and mushroom-derived products, returns will only be accepted if the product packaging remains intact, sealed and unaltered in any way.
3. Return Procedure
If the customer wishes to return one or more products, they must follow the steps below:

Contact our Customer Service Department via atencion@youroptimum.com or by post to the address above, clearly stating their intention to return the product and providing the relevant order number. Customers may also use the standard withdrawal form if they wish.

Upon receipt of the request, we will provide detailed instructions for returning the products.

The customer must return the product(s) within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date they notify us of their intention to withdraw.
Products must be returned in their original packaging, in perfect condition, with all labels, accessories and other components included in the original order, and without any signs of use or deterioration.
4. Return Costs
Hifas da Terra S.L. will charge a fee of €6 to the customer for handling and transport costs related to the return, unless the customer chooses to organise the return themselves, using their own shipping method to the address provided.
If the right of withdrawal is exercised, the direct cost of returning the products will be borne by the customer, unless the return is due to an error attributable to Hifas da Terra S.L.; for example, in the case of delivery of a defective product or one that does not match the original order.
It is the customer’s responsibility to select an appropriate shipping method for returning products, preferably one with tracking or proof of delivery, as Hifas da Terra S.L. cannot be held responsible for damage, loss or theft during return transport.
5. Refund Procedure
Once we have received and inspected the returned product(s) to ensure they meet the required conditions, including being in perfect condition and sealed, Hifas da Terra S.L. will issue a refund for the amount paid for the product(s), including, where applicable, the original shipping costs.
Refunds will be processed within a maximum of fourteen (14) calendar days from receipt of the returned product(s).
Refunds will be made using the same payment method originally used by the customer, unless the parties expressly agree on an alternative method.
Packs: Returns of Packs will be processed on a partial refund basis where applicable, with the refund amount calculated according to the individual retail price (RRP) of each product included in the Pack.
6. Defective Products or Incorrect Shipments
If the customer receives a defective product or one that does not match their order, Hifas da Terra S.L. will cover all return costs and will send a replacement product in perfect condition free of charge.
If a product is received in poor condition, the customer must contact our Customer Service Department for the relevant country, as listed on our website. We will provide full instructions and conditions for either free replacement or return of the product.
The customer must contact us within seven (7) calendar days of receiving the product, providing the necessary information to verify the defect or error (for example, photographs of the product received).
